We’re in Adelaide!
So we have relocated from Gold Coast to Adelaide, to continue with the travelling and a change of scenery. I know to many people Adelaide isn’t high on the list of places to go, but thats what attracted me to it the most. You hear a lot of mixed opinions on the place, often people say its boring/small/nothing there, but then you ask those people when they went – and they haven’t. We knew we had to go open minded, and to see what we thought of it rather than listen to other peoples opinions, but the idea of moving somewhere we had never been to was a little daunting.
Since we have been here though it has been great, we only wish we had moved here sooner!! Adelaide has so much going for it, it’s a fresh, clean city, with beautiful buildings, and a lot of greenery despite being a city. The public transport is great, and the tram is free within the city. Plus the houses/renting is so much cheaper than the Gold Coast!
Plus, there is so much to look forward to in the upcoming weeks, as Adelaide Fringe starts this weekend, and the city comes alive, with shows and events on 24/7, so we can’t wait for that. Also looking forward to visiting the Botanic Gardens, the museum & Art Gallery, and also a crazy looking high wire course. Love this city, and love its vibe, everyone is so nice and friendly here! Honestly if you want to visit a city in Australia, visit Adelaide, because so far, we haven’t found a single fault. oh and mega bonus, the coffee is amazing!!
In the next few weeks I will be out with the camera so watch this space for the next few updates. I promise I won’t leave it so long next time!
